Single, looking for love.

Hello, I am Bear. I am a Boxer mix that is about 2 years old. I am a full time resident of ADORE, but I am on the prowl for my forever home. Sadly, a few years ago I found what I thought was my forever home. I was a good boy, and my family loved me. Until one day they told me I was going on a roadtrip. They brought me back to ADORE, and told the nice people at ADORE that they were moving and just couldn’t bring me along. Luckily, ADORE took me back into the program and told me they would find me my final forever home.

I do great with other dogs, and love to play with them especially at a park. Humans are awesome. They have these great things called opposable thumbs that can give me scratches right behind my ear. When new people come around, I’m always the first to say hello. I’m playful and love stuffed toys. I’m not a hyper dog, but I would love to be with a family that takes me on regular walks and gives me plenty of time to play. Once I get into a home and settle down, I’m a laid back guy after some running around the yard. I don’t mind cats–in fact, I’m actually pretty scared of them, so I keep my distance–and I would do well around older kids. I am crate trained and house trained, as well. I am heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.
