Hello! My name is Scott and I am a 4 yr. old Red Heeler mix.
I was rescued from a very bad area in Houston along with three other pups. We were all abandoned by our previous owners in a backyard, left to starve and fend for ourselves. I was skin and bones, heartworm positive, and very afraid. But despite everything, I have always been super sweet.
I am currently in a foster home with two feline foster brothers and constant canine friends. I am super people friendly and everyone that meets me likes to point out that I always look like I am smiling! I would do great in a home with kids, cats, and other dogs since I am just an easy going pup. I am already leashed trained, crate trained, and house trained. I will sit on command, but it might also result in me in laying down or rolling over…it’s close enough!
For the first time in my life I am experiencing the joy of being in a home while with my foster mom, which means I’ve had many first like: dog parks, stairs, water, and hiking.
I’m learning every day what the world has to offer, and I can’t wait to continue exploring the world with my forever family.
I am up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped, and finally heartworm negative.

Our fosters do something remarkable:
They take in a rescue animal who may have

and help that pet get ready
