Vida is my name; following you around all day is my game! I’ll stay near you so you remember I’m available for petting. If I had it my way, someone would always be petting me.
My past life wasn’t the greatest. I was found by an ADORE volunteer after being thrown out in a ditch. I was sad, I was unwanted and unloved. I wasn’t cared for, and I was left with nothing. When I saw the nice ADORE volunteer I was relieved that someone was there for me, but little did I know that she was going to save my life. Without her I would probably be dead on the streets, but she opened her heart for me. ADORE made me feel all better, and gave me a grand ole place to stay. However, I am still looking for a place of my own and I see that your couch looks pretty comfy.
At my age, I know how to enjoy the good things in life. I enjoy walks and rides in the car. I have plenty of spunk, too. I get along with all kinds of dogs. I am a low key girl that loves a good belly rub and cuddle, but I can also be a great walking partner. I have enough pep in my step to be whatever dog you want me to be.
I have recently completed a 2 week board and train program where I passed with flying colors. The program was a basic obedience course where I learned: sit, down, stay, place, and heel. I also perfected my loose leash walking training, so now everyone can enjoy the long walks. While in the boarding facility I participated in doggie daycare with 20 other dogs and everyone was my best friend. I am friendly and well-adjusted. I did so well, my trainer was very impressed. I say, “Hey, at 8 years old you should know these things!”
I am such a sweetheart, and deserve the best in life. It makes me sad to say that I have been looking for my forever home for 5 years now, and would love to find my forever home very soon. So, if you are ready for a sociable and mature girl in your life, I am ready to start a fresh life with you.
Well, gotta run! I hear what sounds like a can of dog food being opened. Ciao!
